About Sarah’s Crew
Welcome to Experiences by Donovan Design for Learning!
We offer English language experiences that bring people together through practical skills, social connection, and cultural exploration. Whether you’re navigating everyday life, making new friends, or exploring local history, with us, you don’t do it alone—you can be part of Sarah’s crew, sharing adventures in language and community.
I’m Sarah Donovan. I hold an MS.Ed in Instructional Design & Technology, a TESOL certificate from NC State, and a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill. For over ten years, I’ve taught English to learners of all ages in workplaces, community colleges, preschools, private tutoring, and cultural exchange programs—covering grammar, listening, speaking, and accent reduction. I love seeing learners gain confidence, and through these Experiences, I create short, affordable, and fun ways to connect with others while exploring U.S. culture and language.
The word crew means “a group of people who work or travel together.” For me, it also means the people I care about. I call my students my crew—and I hope you’ll join us!
